MineDown is a fast-paced 5×5 grid puzzle game. Every turn, the numbers on the board rise. Your job is to drop bombs, trigger chains, and keep any tile from hitting 20 — the game-over threshold.

Yes — MineDown is free to download and free to play. The game is supported by occasional ads (e.g. a rewarded ad to revive after a game over). No paywalls, no forced subscriptions.

MineDown is built with React Native (Expo) and targets both iOS and Android phones & tablets. Supported versions and a full compatibility list will be published at launch on each store page.

Three rules:

1. Trigger chain reactions. The more tiles your bomb hits in one move, the better the combo multiplier.

2. Keep your streak alive. Consecutive good plays unlock multipliers labeled GOOD!, SOLID HIT!, all the way up to EARTH-SHATTERING!

3. Save your rare bombs (Chain, Freeze, Nuke, Black Hole) for tight spots instead of burning them early.

Stones progress through five tiers as their value grows: Sandstone → Granite → Iron Ore → Obsidian → Diamond. A tile becomes critical at value 7 (glowing red), and the run ends if any tile reaches 20.

The Freeze bomb hits a 3×3 area: it reduces each tile by 1 and freezes them for 2 turns. Frozen tiles don't tick up — buying you time to set up a big play.

Yes. The first time you launch the game, a seven-step interactive tutorial walks you through the grid, the danger bar, and each bomb's blast shape. You can skip it from the main menu via How to Play.

Yes — MineDown uses Google AdMob to serve occasional ads. Rewarded ads (e.g. revive after game over) are optional and always require your tap. See our Privacy Policy for what data ad providers may receive.

Your high score is saved locally on your device. There is no account system, so uninstalling or switching devices will reset your record. We may add cloud saves in the future.

Yes — the core game is fully playable offline. An internet connection is only needed to load ads.

MineDown contains no violence beyond cartoon explosions and no gambling mechanics. However, the game shows third-party ads via AdMob, so we recommend parental supervision for younger players. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

That's the plan. MineDown is built by a small indie team and updated in iterations. New bombs, daily challenges, and a global leaderboard are on the roadmap — we'll prioritize based on player feedback.
